1 -Choose and Prepare Your Photographs
Digital Pictures
- Copy digital pictures to a CD or DVD in sequence. Give each a number such as 001.jpg, 002.jpg.
Photographs & Documents
- Number the back of your photos lightly in pencil or use Post-it notes
- Mix candid and posed photos (black & white or colour) Max 81/2 x 11
Creative Note: Anything that can be scanned by you or Your Memories in Digital could be included in the presentation such as; diplomas, certificates, airline or concert tickets, letters or cards, receipts and newspaper articles. Use your imagination! Items like these can greatly enhance the show.
Your Memories in Digital Note: We will enhance or repair to the best of our ability any photographs that have red-eye or any other obvious blemishes.
2 - Music Choices
We can provide Royalty Free music or use your own music by sending us a CD. Alternatively we can purchase most music on your behalf through online services such as itunes for $3.00 per song. (see Order Form)
Creative Note:Your Memories in Digital’s specialty is “mixing music & memories”. You can choose each song yourself or allow our team to take your suggestions (favorite artists and musical time periods) and ultimately put our creativity to work.
Your Memories in Digital's Passion: We believe the final music choice could be the most important part of your DVD Slideshow. As stated above Your Memories in Digital’s specialty is “mixing music & memories”. We research lyrics as well as song meanings so we can bring together the entire theme of the story you want to tell. Our passion for synchronizing meaningful music to your photographs is second to none. We will often try multiple songs until we find just the right one. Our ultimate goal is to leave the viewer touched and inspired.
3 - Titles and Captions
Each Your Memories in Digital Package includes an opportunity to personalize your Slideshow with Titles and Captions. Plus content for the DVD case.
Consider favourite expressions or quotes pertaining to the person or theme of your Slideshow when filling this section in on the Order Form.
4 -Ready To Go?
Request an Order Form to fill out and include with your shipment to Your Memories in Digital. We will contact you to confirm your order.
Package all materials (CD, certificates, photos etc.) in a box or padded envelope using a traceable shipping or mailing service.
After receiving your materials a consultant from Your Memories in Digital will contact you to discuss the details of your slideshow.
