The quality of your Photo Slideshow on DVD depends on having good quality photos. If photos are fuzzy and out of focus, they will look like that on your TV screen as well. Please do not cut or crop photos! Prints or digital photos should be landscape. We can use portrait photos, but each side of the photo will be filled in with background.
2 - What size project works best?
Select a special event such as a birthday, wedding, reunion or vacation. Most Photo Slideshow on DVD have only two or three songs to provide entertainment and leave your guests wanting more.
Yes, you can add captions to your photo slideshow. Captions enhance the photos and should be used as an aid to helping with the memory of a particular photo.
4 - What type of background music is included with each package?
We can use your favorite songs. Just send us the music CD you have purchased and we will add your favorite songs to your photos. We recommend that each photo be displayed for a minimum of seven to ten seconds. Estimate six photos for each minute of music. We can also provide royalty-free background music. Select from county, easy listening, classical or rock on your order form.
5 - Can I add my own background music?
Yes. We can incorporate your choice of music in your Photo Slideshow on DVD so long as it is music you have purchased from a legitimate vendor for your own personal in-home use. If any music subject to copyright is used in your video, you will be strictly prohibited from selling, copying or publishing any copies of the video we make for you. Your use of the video must be limited solely to your own personal in-home viewing without charge. It is against the law to reproduce copyrighted material for the purpose of selling it to third parties. US Law only allows for you to make one backup copy of any software or media for personal and archival purposes, which is the ONLY intended use for our services. Our services are not meant for those who intend on breaking copyright laws. In no way will we be held responsible if you do.
6 - Can I preview my DVD with a dial-up connection?
Due to the high volume of bandwidth required for streaming video, web previews are not possible over most dial-up connections. A cable, DSL, wireless or satellite Internet connection is recommended for all web previews.
7 - Will recordable DVDs work on all DVD players?
Unfortunately there is not a single recordable DVD format that will work on 100% of all DVD players. There are two primary DVD recording formats used today. They are DVD-R and DVD+R.
The DVD-R was the first DVD recording format released and is compatible with about 93% of the standalone DVD players and most DVD-ROMs. DVD+R is compatible with about 89% of all DVD Players and most DVD-ROMs.
We use the DVD-R format for our photo video memories. We can record DVD +R if needed. If your completed DVD will not play in your player, we will redo your project for free within thirty days of receipt of your project.
8 - Are additional copies of my slide show available?
Additional copies are available for a greatly reduced price. All copies are exactly like the original, fully labeled and packaged. Our Photo Slideshows on DVD make wonderful and unique gifts for friends and family.
9 - What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept personal checks, cashier's checks and money orders. For your convenience we are also pleased to accept credit card payments through PayPal. Ohio residents must add sales tax to their total price.
10 - Do you offer professional photo restoration services?
No we do NOT offer professional restoration services. If your photos have suffered severe damage, we strongly recommend that you consult a professional photo restoration company before submitting your photos for inclusion.
11 - If I send digital pictures, which format do you prefer?
It is best to send your digital photos in .jpg format, but we are also happy to accept .gif and .bmp files. You can also send us a photo-CD via postal mail or by emailing us a "zip" file.
We'll take your choice of music and your photographs and put Your Memories in Digital so you will have a special photo slideshow on DVD that you can share with friends and family time and time again.
